went to visit and send my condolences to the family.
it was the first time the boy saw me in headscarf and he poked fun at me.
tsktsk.
went back and had macd breakfast with the boy.
he went for soccer soon after.
&& we had a random conversation about crushes on our friends.

worked and headed to jb with bacins.

when i was on my way there, mother
called to inform me the death of a primary/secondary schoolmate.
it came as a shock to me.
the second primary schoolmate to leave us.
and i find it just saddening that parents are
doing the send-offs for children and not otherwise.

anyways,met the boy after i came back from jb.
hanged out at east coast park till about 3am.
nothing beats a good conversation with your loved ones.

we spent the night at Siloso Beach Resort
for his brother's birthday celebration.
we came pretty late at about 10plus,watched movie with them and the rest went off to party
while the boy&i just stayed outside.

woke up pretty early but slept back till about 11plus.
washed ourselvss up and went to take a look at the swimming pool.
such a pity we didn't had a swim.

my boss had gotten us tickets to Universal Studio Singapore
and a night's stay at Festive hotel.
but unfortunately,
it was raining most of the afternoon and couldn't take many rides.
thus,we just got ourselves checked into the room
and stayed there for the rest of the afternoon.

amanda had to leave early and so,
me&nurul walked around vivo for awhile
before heading back to USS for a quickie.

the night fireworks was pretty
and i went off to meet the boy while nurul went to meet her bf.
we both went to play arcade,got ourselves macd takeouts
and slacked at the atrium,
just simply talking.
headed back to the hotel with nurul and slept soon after.

worked and met up with the usuals.
drinks,good food,sheesha & good conversations with the closest,
what more can you ask for ?

after which,at about 12plus,
we headed out to Grandlink for an hour of karaoke.
i swear by the time i reached home,
i was mad tired.
but given the company on a Friday night,
i couldn't complain.

3D/2N KL TRIP WITH FAMILY
DAY 3

since we ordred pretty last minute,
the only slots available was early morning.
and guess what,
bad experience at the hotel lohh !
only my parents managed to bathe since they woke up earlier.
the hotel had some pipe problem and it can only be fixed at 10am when the technician is in.
wtf ?
i almost didn't wanted to go off but oh wells !
we had a quick brushing of teeth at Berjaya Times Square before taking the 8am bus.
that pretty much explains our busuk faces.
gosh !

and since afiq had little sleep last night,
he suffered headaches and actually vomited in the bus.
talk about motion sickness.

that wraps up our trip then.
quality time spent with the family indeed.
once we alighted from the bus at about noon,
the boy came and fetched me.
off we headed to jb to get some cds and eat our lunch.
all out like that horr.

DAY 2

woke up,got ready but since it was raining,
my parents went out to get me&azri slippers&breakfast.
soon after, we headed out to Berjaya Times Square and had some shopping spree,
for them boys at least.

we spent most of the day in Berjaya Times Square only
and got all these.
they really shopped lohhh !

however much we wanted to just stay in,
we went out for awhile to get some snacks
before heading back for some midnight movies on tv.

looking back at the above picture makes me wanna drool.
missing the KFC's cheese alreadyyy !

3D/2N KL TRIP WITH FAMILY

DAY 1

been too long since we all went on a holiday together.

so,we settled to just head to kl for a short trip.

and this is like my third time going to kl within a month !

it's a pity that i took such a long time to settle for a hotel to book.
in the end,mother just wanted to try the hotel
i went with the usuals a few moths back, The Malaysia Hotel.
we took the family room and it was better than the one i had.
but given that it's a budget hotel,can't expect much also mahh.
checked in and headed out again for lunch&a little shopping.

me&my siblings ;
afiq,me&azri.afiq is like 6years younger
but so much tallerzz.
we headed back to the hotel to take a rest before going out
again to experience the 'night life' by having
some desserts&satay/sheesha.

it has been a good first night eventhough
afiq kept on having the black face
since he had just wanted to stay in the hotel only.

the sheesha session with them was great
since we talked&just have fun.

2D/1N KL TRIP WITH CLASSMATES

DAY 2

i was the last to wake up at 9plus.

katy&mengwhee are heading back by plane

and thus,had to go off first.

slacked for abit and checked out somewhere close to 12pm.

it had been a great 2d1n trip with them classmates.
though it was a short one,
we made full use of the time and had fun.
shall this be a regular thing before every semester starts ?

2D/1N KL TRIP WITH CLASSMATES

DAY 1

we went separately there./three of us by car,
two of us by plane
and kynn&partner went 2days before us by coach.

it was a rather short trip by car since the three os us kept ourselves
busy by talking about matters of the heart&life.
by about noon, we all met up at Berjaya Times Square for pizza lunch.
ate and checked into our 2-bedroom Berjaya Times Square apartment soon after.

the apartment is rather big
but felt the furnishings could've been abit more modern.
anyways,we slacked for awhile before heading out again.
us girls headed to grab some food
&intended to meet up kynn&partner todo some shopping,
while the boys went for a massage.

me,katy,ain&kynn.

since we couldn't reach kynn to meet up for shopping,
we walked around Sungei Wang for awhile before getting all tired and sleepy.
Thus,we headed back to the room and by about 6pm,
we already started to have a pre-party session.

ding dong dang !

somewhere close to 8pm,
things got a little blurry.
nevertheless,we girls got ready first
and waited for kynn&partner before heading out to Zouk.

we almost couldn't get in to Zouk
but arrangements were made and zooom we go !
all in all,the crowd was pretty ok and i had a great night.
once we reached back to the room at about 3sm,
i crashed immediately.
damn tired !

since the boy had his soccer training,
we met up at Adam's Corner at Boon Keng and headed for Teh Tarik Haig Road.
so kental but it was my first time trying wanton noodle and i fell in loveeeee !
i foresee more wanton noodle cravings.

2D/1N KL TRIP WITH LOVE.

DAY 2

since the room wasn't inclusive of any complimentary breakfast,

we went out at about 10am and had roti canai for breakfast.

since we requested for a late-check out at 1pm,

we headed back and took a rest before we check out.

the boy took a nap while i did some self-shots to occupy myself.
dang !

headed out somewhere after 1pm for check-out.
went straight to berjaya times square,
tried to do some last minute shopping and get some food
from Marrybrown.
we were rushing for time since we booked the 2pm coach.
my bad.

and that pretty much conclude our 2d1n trip to Kuala Lumpur
for the first time together.
it was a really impromptu yet fun trip.

2D/1N KL TRIP WITH LOVE.

DAY 1

since we got ourselves the coach at about 730am, i had to take an urgent leave.
but being me,I was late by a little bit.
we both slept throughout most of the 5hours journey
and when we finally reached kl,
we found our way to our hotel,Parkroyal.

to me,the boy had booked a rather expensive hotel room.
at a rate of S$150 for a night,it's rather costly
since kl has a vast choice of hotels available.
but in any case,the room was nice and comfortable.
since it rained just after we reached the hotel,
we walked around the hotel and just slacked in our room.
in about less than an hour,
the rain stopped and we headed out for our much-awaited lunch.

since the boy wanted to eat Carl's Junior,
we walked over to Pavillion and have our late lunch at about 2pm.

after which,we walked over to Sungei Wang to do a little shopping.
less than 30minutes,we headed back to the hotel to have a short nap.
we felt really lethargic and sleepy to do any more walking.
we alarmed the clock but kept snoozing it.
we finally went out again at about 7pm.
walked around Sungei Wang again and headed to take the tram
to the infamous Petaling Street.
did a little shopping and headed back to the hotel at about 10plus.

freshened ourselves up and head out again to have a feel of the nightlife there.
i didn't brought along any club-worthy clothes or shoes but
had coincidentally bought a new top and wedges.
but i swear the wedges damn high lohh !
thankfully,there wasn't any blisters or whatnots ahh.
anyways,we went to ReggaeClub(?) somewhere at Changkat Road.
but i must say there's nothing about the music or interior design that's reggae.
there's like two levels and it was playing more of trance,hip hop songs instead.
environment was ok and in all,i had a good time.
we headed back to the hotel somewhere close to 3am
and crashed soon after.

went over to his place and headed for beach road to buy bus tickets
eventhough i haven't got my leave approved.
i irritated him badly.
so much so that i spoilt his surprise to bring me to the cinema.
apparently,he has already booked tickets for real steel beforehand.
awesome movie with great kid !
first movie we watched on the day of it's opening.

both were stubborn and egoistic.
both obviously wanted a meet-up
but we both made things difficult for one another.
in the end,i gave in and we had supper at changi village.
that's when i learnt that he had booked a night's stay at kl
to make up for the loss of time.
shocking much !
and thing is,i had to work that weekend and i can't possibly take leave since
plans to go to kl with the classmates are the following weekend.

we talked about things that doesn't involve us.
cause all he need is a listening ear and a hug.

but it enraged me when i learnt about something that happened about 2,3 weeks ago.
i remained calm and went along with his plan to party with his friends.
i didn't pretty much intend to burst it out that night.
but things got blurry and all i wanted was the truth about
the bogus trip to jb.

since i was pretty annoyed with the boy,
we didn't contact but only through facebook chat.
pretty much cause he still went ahead to go jb,again.
and he mentioned through the facebook chat,
that he had a last minute plan
to a secondary school mate's open house.
last minute huh ?

communication breakdown all due to a flat handphone battery
caused more cold wars.
dang !

things weren't going well coming to the end of the visits.
we're from different 'cliques' in class and so,
people got demanding,people got cranky.
i'm not too sure this will be a repeat for the coming years.

having dinner and hanged out.
was pretty annoyed with the boy.

i'm no control freak but the importance of basic courtesy.
and after a few hours of hanging out with zaffy&firoz,

as much as he annoys the hell out of me,
he pretty much knows how to get me smitten.

the boy came over to my granddad's place since it was pouring heavily
while he was on his way to his soccer match.
since it was a pretty cold war since the last time we had that heart-to-heart talk,
nothing much was said but we just got ourselves cozy through the heavy rain.

we met up again when i was back at my home and he sleptover at my place.
and we say all's in the past and we're good as ever.

we end up fighting.
it further annoys me that he took days to finally make it up to me.

since i'm sleeping over at my granddad's place with ella,
for a few days,

we had a heart-to-heart talk and it got me teared.
it hurts terribly to see where this relationship is going.

headed to meet farah to hang out.
in the end,we went to book tickets for 'crazy stupid love' at The Cathay.
just before the movie started,my hp slipped from my hands and the whole time i was so worried someone might took it.
but thankfully,after about 10minutes of checking our seats and such after the movie ended,
i found it face flat at the seat behind me.
phew,that was close !

i'm not a control freak,but i expect some initiative and the need of courtesy.
but when i learnt the next morning that that wasn't the case,
i feel nothing but enraged.
where's the courtesy ?

unfortunately for me,
the second day not only do i have work
but exam paper to sit for too.
sucks much.

took some time off from work to take the exam.
the boy came to surprised me at work and sent me to school.

i had second thoughts to head back to work after the paper.
but sadly,i still had to even after
trying my luck to reason out with my manager.

SHR 2011

this year's was as boring as the last one.
though we never had to take-out macd,
the day ended too fast.
shr no longer feels special.
it no longer has the vibe it has for our family years back.
but oh wells !

and so,it was just visiting of three houses and it home sweet home.

after i've reached home, they boy initially wanted to meet,
but due to exhaustion and paper the next day,
i turn him down and instead,
just spend some time talking on the phone with him
before calling it a day.

had paper to sit for this afternoon.
ended work early and headed for school.
had my last breaking of fast for this ramadan with the family at home.
had plans to actually go geylang to get some last minute goodies with the boy.
but since he's out with his family to break fast,
me,mother&brother headed to geylang bazaar at somewhere close to 11pm.
prices weren't slashed as much but i got a pretty good deal for my two kebaya tops at $10 each
and soon after 2am,we headed for home.

my poa paper is in a few days's time,
and studying with them made me feel i've not studied hard enough.

ah pen treated us to a good spread of food at newton.
since akmal wasn't able to break fast with us,
we waited for him after the breaking our fast.

his bike at that spot,looking at us.
not till zaffy realised there's
actually someone looking at us from far.

since we were all plan-less,
headed to fort canning park to hang out.
had initially wanted to go play kinect but it was fully booked.
